Black Bear Diner
2100 El Centro Road, Sacramento
Presentation by SETA
The Sacramento Employment & Training Agency (SETA), a Special District of the City and County of Sacramento, was formed in 1978. From its inception, SETA has been an effective force in connecting people to jobs, business owners to quality employees, education and nutrition to children, and hope to many Sacramento area residents.
SETA has worked closely with the City of Sacramento, the Sacramento Kings, Turner Construction, and several Trades to advance the “Priority Apprentice Program”. They are currently working on several statewide Initiatives that promote occupations in the Trades. Antwaun Billoups and Cam-Nhung Hoang, accomplished Workforce Development Professionals, will discuss their work with pre-construction candidates and helping them prepare for jobs.
